1. About Us
The Colonel's Homestay is a homestay accommodation located at 499 A, Near NH-47, Vytilla, Kochi, Kerala.
We offer guest rooms, hospitality services, and related amenities for short-term stays.
2. Bookings & Reservations
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by us.
- A booking request submitted through our website, phone, email, or WhatsApp does not constitute a confirmed reservation until we explicitly confirm it.
- Guests must provide accurate contact details and the number of persons staying. The number of guests must not exceed the capacity of the booked room.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking at our discretion, including in cases of incomplete information, suspected fraud, or violation of these terms.
3. Check-In & Check-Out
- Standard check-in time is 12:00 and check-out time is 11:00, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request and is subject to availability and additional charges.
- Valid government-issued photo identification must be presented by all guests at check-in, as required by local regulations.
4. Rates & Payment
- Room rates, taxes, and applicable charges will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation.
- Payment terms, including advance deposits or full payment requirements, will be specified during the booking process.
- Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp.
- Refunds, if applicable, depend on the cancellation notice period and the booking terms communicated at confirmation.
- No-shows or early departures may be charged in full or in part, depending on the booking agreement.
- We recommend contacting us as early as possible if your travel plans change.
6. Guest Conduct
We expect all guests to maintain the dignity, peace, and cleanliness of our homestay. Guests agree to:
- Treat hosts, staff, other guests, and property with respect at all times
- Refrain from loud music, disruptive behaviour, illegal activities, or use of prohibited substances on the premises
- Follow house rules regarding smoking, alcohol, visitors, and common areas
- Not use the property for commercial activities without prior written consent
We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave immediately, without refund, if conduct is deemed inappropriate,
unsafe, or harmful to others or the property.
7. Property Care & Liability
- Guests are responsible for any damage to rooms, furniture, fixtures, or belongings caused during their stay.
- We are not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings unless caused by our proven negligence.
- Guests use amenities and facilities at their own risk. We are not responsible for injury or loss arising from misuse of facilities.
- Our liability is limited to the extent permitted under applicable Indian law.
8. Eco-Friendly & House Rules
As an eco-conscious homestay, we request guests to support our waste-management practices, conserve water and
electricity, and maintain cleanliness. Homemade meals and kitchen access, where offered, are subject to timing
and house rules communicated during your stay.
9. Website Use
- Content on this website, including text, images, and branding, is owned by The Colonel's Homestay and may not be copied or reused without permission.
- We strive to keep website information accurate but do not guarantee that all content is complete or error-free at all times.
- We may modify website content, services, or these terms without prior notice.
10. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our
Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control,
including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, power failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from bookings or stays
shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kochi, Kerala, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
